Two roads diverged in a concrete plaza,
And confused as to where to go
And be one car, long I paused
And read the signs down one as far as I could
To where they hid behind decorative trees;

Then took the other, as equally marked,
And having perhaps better restaurants,
Because it had parking and fewer potholes;
Though as for that the driving there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that evening similarly stood
With smog and noise and flashing lights.
Oh, I kept the first for another eve!
Yet knowing how streets turn many ways,
I expected I'd see it even sooner.

I shall be using my GPS with a sigh
Somewhere in a parking lot quite shortly:
Two roads diverged in a concrete plaza, and I -
I u-turned left right here,
And that has made my journey prickly.
